Anna Śledzińska-Simon (Poland)
CV:
Assistant Professor in the Chair of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University in Wroclaw. She received her S.J.D. and LL.M. degree in comparative constitutional law from the Central European University (Budapest) and has worked as a national legal expert for the Agency of Fundamental Rights, the Polish Helsinki Foundation of Human Rights and the Israel Democracy Institute. She specialises in comparative constitutional law, human rights and anti-discrimination law. She is also a regular speaker at the Academy of European Law in Trier. Her current research concerns the application of the principle of proportionality in courts and the role of women in constitution-making.
